The first film is Shaun of the Dead, a 2004 romantic zombie comedy film (self-dubbed "rom-zom-com" ). The name is also a reference to the French Three Colours trilogy (1993–1994) by director Krzysztof Kieślowski. In addition to brief references to the Cornetto ice cream brand, the films have other common elements: each one depicts romance and struggles with maturity as recurring themes. They were produced on a total budget of $38 million, and the films have grossed more than $156 million worldwide, and all three films have garnered widespread critical acclaim. The trilogy of films does not share a storyline, and is named after its repeated passing references to Cornetto ice cream cones. Now that Hughie is no longer wanted, he appears to have left the CIA’s protection and returned to his old life. Hugh appears briefly in the first episode, on a video call with Hughie. He was last seen with The Boys at the safe house before being taken into the CIA’s protection under Susan Raynor alongside Mother’s Milk’s family. He is later kidnapped by A-Train and rescued by Hughie and the Female. He is very protective of Hughie and strongly advises him to accept Vought’s settlement and not pursue the matter any further. Hugh consoles his son after A-Train kills his girlfriend Robin. In The Boys, he plays Hugh Campbell, and in The Boys Presents: Diabolical, he plays Hughie Campbell. ![]()
